Goodbye Kellie
Pickler got picked on Idol last night. This should come as no surprise to anyone as she has been screwing things up for a couple weeks now. It still escapes me as to how that Jay Leno look-a-like, no talent, silver-haired, spastic Taylor Hicks is still here. Pickler could at least sing. You just never can tell about America. Case in point, just look at the 59 million, ur, people, who voted for the current White House Idiot. Anyhow, thats another post. I picked Kat McPhee to win on her first audition, and while I'm sticking by that pick, Chris Daughtry is NO DOUBT a budding superstar. I might also mention that I picked Carrie Underwood and Fantasia to win from the git-go. That would make me 2 for 2, or a perfect score, in the 3 Idols I've watched, with the 3rd. one still to be decided. I managed to avoid the first two Idols. And yes, I am bragging.LOL. Anyhow, I'll miss Kellie. She was just a cute little thing, don't you think??

Although Kellie was cute...I don't think she's an "American Idol" sort of girl. She useta drive me insane when she would try to sing all serious and stuff. She's a cute girl..and I'm sure won't have a problem picking up a country gig somewhere.
My favorite from the git go this season has been Kat. I just love her....and Chris. He's pretty good if he'd stop growlin' all the time. I said in the beginning I think the final 3 would be Kat, Chris, and Elliot. They're my favorites.
I've been an Idol watcher since Clarkson-weird how that happened. It's like a train wreck-ya gotta watch.
What's up with the "Taylor Bashing"? I love Taylor! You are breakin' my heart Joe!
Sorry to break yur heart, Tar, but who would you pay 75.00 to see, Taylor, Chris or Kat??? Heck, Mandisa deserved to be there more then Taylor. Tomorrow night, turn up your TV and go in the OTHER room and listen to him sing. This way, you won't be watchin' his spastic, on stage antics, and you will then hear how AWFUL his voice is. As you know, kiddo, I've been listening to music a long time, and this guy is NO Idol. I do heart the Spice Girls however...lol.....P.S. Ten Years After is coming to Pig Out, WITHOUT Alvin Lee..
You're killin' me here Joe...have you done the same with Rod Stewart, or Joe Cocker, or Cher, or countless others? They all have unique sounds, as does Taylor!
And I am afraid that I wouldn't pay $75.00 to see any one!
I do think Mandisa deserved to be there longer than she was.
And I will agree that Chris and Kat are both great!
Think we ought to make Mel go to Ten Years After? Lord knows she heard enough of them when she was little!
You raise good points, Tari, well except for Cher. Her last face lift tightened up her face so much she can barely smile, much less sing. Not that she ever could. By the way, have you seen Kenny Rogers lately? Talk about a face lift....As far as Taylor is concerned, and you won't move me on this, pick a lounge in any big city in America on any Saturday night, and you will find a better singer then him. Also, Mel SHOULD go to the Ten Years After concert because it might get her over this Spice Girl thing she's got going on.....lol...later..
Mel doesn't want to see Ten Years After. Mel doesn't care about AI. Mel hearts the Spice Girls and you all have to accept me for who I am.
