'America Wakes Up....Finally..."
People in the U.S.A. woke up Tuesday, Good Morning, America. I was starting to believe I was the only one awake in America. I have been opposed to this illegal war from the beginning, I preached this to anyone who would listen, and was pretty much rebuked everywhere I went. EVERYBODY stood behind President Idiot, and nobody would listen to my reasoning. Well, Father Time's spell finally wore off, and people, from all indications, are FINALLY seeing what I've been seeing.

For those of you who don't know me well, some background..
I'm from Northern California, near San Francisco. Yes, I have been to Haight Ashbury, and I was there for the "Summer Of Love" Yes, I do have a 'Peace Sign" stuck in my ear, and I have one in my truck.
1. I am a left wing LIBERAL who believes in human rights.
2. I'm pro-life.
3. I don't believe in calling gay marriage "gay marriage", but I DO support gays being together, just call it a different name.
4. I support gun control because I don't think you need an UZI around the house for protection.
5. I believe in GOD. Also, the after life.
6. I DON'T believe in chuches or preachers. I'll explain later.
7. Finally, I DO believe President Idiot will burn in hell.
This administration started an illegal war, tortured prisoners, caused the death of nearly 2,900 American men and women, countless thousands of innocent Iraqi's, illegally detained hundreds in Cuba without due process, hell I could go on all day, but I won't.
Due to a new law Bush just signed, ANYONE suspected of terroriest activities can be detained by police, WITHOUT due process, for as long as they feel necessary. This means NO lawyer, NO court date, NO nothing. This is against the constitution, go check if you don't believe me.
Our country is financially bankrupt. This is no lie, folks. The amount we now owe is almost 9 Trillion dollars. Most of this is to China. The interest only is 84 billion dollars a year. All of the above is taken from U.S.A. Today. Our great-great-grandchildren will be paying this off. And yes, I DID intend to type Trillion and Billion above.
President Shrub has also signed into law authorizing the Feds to wiretap ANY person in America they suspect of terror, without the benefit of a warrant.
As I write this, the next Speaker-Of-The-House, Nancy Pelosi, is sitting down in one of the White House dining rooms getting her ass kissed by Shrub Boy himself. How would you like to be a fly on that wall? Finally, someone TELLING him the way it's gonna be. Refreshing, isn't it.

Churches and preachers----Sorry, don't like 'em, don't need 'em. Here's why..
I can pick up a Bible and read it and understand it all by myself. If I need help, I PRAY about it. Isn't that what praying is all about?? Developing a PERSONAL relationship with God. Don't get me wrong, I've been to church. Both my weddings have been in a chuch. (My second wife & I have had a civil as well as a church wedding). I have never seen the need to go to church and watch a preacher stand up there and tell me what the bible says. I am fully qualified to understand what the bible says, if not, I pray about it. The preachers job is to make you feel GOOD about yourself. I expect some people need this, I don't. Which brings me to churches....
or I should say, church buildings...I know I'm gonna step on toes here, but this is an incredible waste of money. We build these HUGE buildings, get all dressed up on Sunday, drive down to church, get out and go in, listen to a preacher not as smart as you, tell you what the bible says, pass the collection plate to pay for the huge building, pray, go outside and chat with the others, and let the neighbors see you at church. What do we do THEN? Here's what most of you do.....
We get back in our gas-guzzling SUV, drive across town past numerous homeless people, past missions who TRY to care of these people, past legal help centers who TRY to help these people, past many Goodwills and other thrift centers who TRY to help these people, past bad people who exploit these people, past women selling their bodies trying to survive, past thousands of other gas-guzzling SUV's on their way to where????
"Old Country Buffett" to break bread with your church buddies. So go ahead, stuff yourself on Sunday afternoon. Pat yourself on the back. You did good today. You went to church. What you should have done is woke up, had a church service with your family in your HOME, talked to the kids and asked them how things are going, discussed the bible, and had a group hug. Then you and your family should have got into the SUV, went to one of the places mentioned above, and tried to do your part to help these people. You could then put the money you were gonna stick in the plate at church into the offering box at the charity. I'm POSITIVE they would appreciate it. You could then go to sleep that night with a REAL sense of accomplishment.
